    I know that there aren't a lot of comparisons of the T and R series, so I thought I'd post a few pictures comparing an R61 to a T40. I know that the T40 isn't the same thickness as a T61, but it's close enough, so I'm hoping that you'll forgive me for not using a T61 :rolleyes:

    O nice, the lighting is perfect, chubby. Excellent shots.

    That ~3mm difference is pretty obvious. I guess that $50 is kind of worth it.

    In the last picture the R61 looks more to my taste, simply because of the widescreen ratio, keyboard closer to the screen, and whole laptop not as long (because of widescreen). However, the touchpad on the T40 I like because it's larger; then again, I like the sqare touchpad look more on the R61...
