    Combo T40 CD DVD not working any compatible?

    hi there

    I have a T40 with cd DVD combo who does not work anymore no sound inside whenever you enter a disc. I presume it is dead so I need to replace , pricewise lenovo IBM spare parts are very expensive min is 150€ ( 200$) . Does anybody know if we can find in the market a compatible product to avoid to pay so much for a product which is already 5 years old...

    Post you're looking for a drive in the Marketplace forum over on ThinkPads.com. I bet someone there has a drive at a more agreeable price.
