So my IPS Panel arrived today. Yay! I installed it and everything worked fine. Viewing Angles are superb and Contrast is very high. But one thing really bugs me: Colors. In fact, they are WORSE than that of the TN Panel.
Worst thing is the color temperature. It's much to low, thus everything looks yellow-ish. I know there are Color Profiles, but I have no idea how to use them. When I do apply one I see no difference.
I think I need a guide for dummies.
Can someone please help?

You could try this ICC Profile which was calibrated using Spyder3Elite from NotebookCheck. Then:
* Go to "Color Management" (type in the search box to save time).
* Select the "Advanced" Tab and on the bottom there should be a button called "Change System Defaults". Click on that (you may need permission from UAC) and another Color Management window will pop up.
* This time you can add a custom profile so click on the "Add..." button.
* To import the ICC profile select "Browse..." and choose the new profile.
* Then set it as the default profile and it should change the colors to that of the calibrated profile. -
OK, do I need to restart or anything in order to see a difference? Because everything looks just as before at the moment.

I rebootet and even though there still seems be a slight layer of yellow I suppose it's a little bit better. Colors look somewhat more balanced, just like they did on the TN Panel. Thanks allot Hearst!
