    Hello,

I want to buy a 22' LCD for my home office. This LCD will work with my current 15.4' T61.

I notice that some people can have their laptop work with a monitor without opening the laptop's lid (that means it is remain closed) with help of extra equipment. Is it docking station? or something else. I want to buy one.

    Thanks!!!

No need to buy anything. Just change the 'Global Power Setting' in the Power Manager to 'do nothing' when the lid is closed. Plug your external monitor into the vga port on the side of your computer.
