Should I be worried about heat damaging the LCD when docked? My laptop will be sitting in the docking station for most of the time with the lid closed. I notice some heat is being transferred to the lower part of the LCD frame after some light usage and is a bit worried what might happen after a long day of heavy usage.

I used my T42 quiet extensively while docked. While that's not exactly the same machine, trust me, they think of these things when they design them. I never had any heat issues. I have the dock with my R60 too, but I don't dock as much with it.
