Have a T60 (1953d6u). Installed the newest version (7.00XX.22) hoping I use the fingerprint functionality with websites but I find it doesn't work with Firefox. Then I experience hangups after resuming from standby which was solved after uninstalling CSS. After uninstalling this version. I can't find an installation file of the old one anywhere. Not that it worked either but at least it did not make my computer hang. The Access Connections software is also a pain to work with. And I thought IBM was a business user's dream. Jeez.

Anybody else having this problem with CSS?

The problem is apparently buggin other people since Lenovo has issued two updates. One 7.00.0037 that led to another problem, it could not detect the security chip(dumbass update). Then the latest one 7.01.0027 where they removed most of the automation and went back to the manual entry creation of version 6 and removed mozilla compatibility. Is it me (am I expecting too much from the inheritors of the Thinkpad trademark?) or is Lenovo screwing up bad here.

Have you tried emailing them about it? It's quite possible that there was a security flaw, so they removed the functionality until they could fix it.

    no mozilla support? hmmm...

i just used it a while ago.. but yeah sometimes it does not work, but most of the times it works on me..

also, give it about 3-4 second before swiping your finger. it does give a hang-up
