I just did a fresh installation of Windows XP, Everything is all Installed.. but when my computer boots to Client Security Solution 8.0 and asks me to enter a new password to enroll the logged in User, it give me this message.

"The user could not be enrolled with Client Security Solution."

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CSS8 and even the Fingerprint software 5.6 but I just cannot seem to figure out how to fix this..

Did you set CSS up previously to installing version eight?

When I first got my R60, I set up CSS. When I restored it the factory state later using the recovery discs, on a different hard drive, it still remembered the old settings. It's why I asked if you had set it up before. Perhaps there is a way to clear it. Did Lenovo have anything to say about this? If you don't plan on using CSS, which I personally don't, you can dump it which should solve the problem.

I believe that you can boot into BIOS, and reset the security chip. If I remember it correctly, you have to 'cold' reboot into BIOS in order to get the 'reset' option.
