I'm wondering if anyone has a new T61 with a Chicony keyboard? Does it still click? I tested out a T60 a few months ago and it really annoyed me with the "clickiness".

Also does Alps click like Chicony does? I tested a T60 widescreen at bestbuy without any click and it was awesome.

When I'm ordering my T61 (not sure if I should go 14.1 or 15.4 yet) is there any way I can effect what keyboard I get? I know, right now that if my keyboard clicks it's gonna drive me up the wall.

I would think they would listen to the community and have NMB make the keyboards for the T and X Thinkpad series while making the rest on Lenovo's consumer line or R series. With Alps making up the difference.
