Hey everyone. I just recently noticed that when I tilt my thinkpad left and right (very slowly I might add), I hear a small clicking sound. I can also feel something small moving inside there also. Has anyone else experienced this issue before? I'm guess this is not normal, but it's my very first Thinkpad so I have nothing to compare it with. I have no performance issues with the computer so far, and I've had this for about a month now. Thanks for the input

You shouldn't feel or hear any rolling parts inside. You should at least remove the keyboard and see if anything is loose.

I've removed the keyboard and took a look around, but saw nothing that seemed to be loose. batman, what do you mean? I'm not real familiar with technical terms - I'm more of a casual user. Is there some type of guide available for me to check out what you're talking about?

    exactly as dreamer stated it

to test it, double click the aps icon (its a green arrow next to a cylinder - when the computer is still)

uncheck the enable aps box, hit apply and then test

    good luck

I tried gently tilting the laptop while the APS was on and off and got the same results both times. It's still the small clicking sound both ways. Should I try to further open up the laptop or should I let Lenovo customer service know about this issue? I only have the one year limited warranty, and don't want this thing crapping out in one year and two days or something like that. Thanks

yes if you have warranty, you can take it to a local shop that works with IBM and have them fix it. You should do so before warranty is up. Turn around is pretty quick.
