Previously, there is someone installed the keyboard and palmrest of x220 on x230, from a Taiwan website.
I basically use the same idea, installed the keyboard and palmrest of t420s on t430s.

The palmrest of T420s actually dose not fit the t430s completely, it requires a bit modification. Some material on the palmrest of t420s need to be removed.

There is a issue with the keyboard mapping. 4 of the keys were mapped incorrectly at the top right area. Some keys are not functional because of the BIOS, but the total number of functional keys is unchanged during this modification. This means that you only need to solve the mapping problem with software in the OS.

Sorry for my language, I am not a native english speaker.

I made some detailed explanation and more photos in a chinese forum.
You may want to go there for more photos of this modification, just ignore the characters.

I also uploaded a video presenting this laptop, and also the testing of keyboard mapping.
