After much reading, I've decided on the Thinkpad T42. I want a notebook that is easy to travel with. I only use it for surfing, email, occasional DVD watching, light work applications such as Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.

The particular specs caught my eye:
    Pentium M 135 1.7
    14.1 SXGA
    512 Ram
    60GB Hard Drive

Is this a good combination? Can I find these specs for around $1500, if so, where? Are there any other things I should look for?

    Thanks.

Its close. You'll have to upgrade the memory and hard drive is only 60Gb. Good Luck.
