What www sites or page do people use to check for screen problems - such as screen is darker in one part vs. the other? Are there certain colored backgrounds which show the problems better than others.

I just go my T400 (Samsung screen) anyhow if there is a problem with the screen, I want to discover it sooner rather than later.

My dell inspiron 8600 will come out clear on boot up, but then comes black after a few minutes. IO was told it was a driver but so far have been unable to correct the problem.
