    I have been thinking of getting a second battery since i use this laptop alott at school and many times i can run out of battery and have to shut it off...i am wondering if there is a place that sells any cheaper than lenovo...since i think $100+ for a battery is a ripoff lol

    What battery do you have now and what battery do you want? Do you have a widescreen or a 4:3 display screen?

    I bought an Ultrabay battery from www.newegg.com for $95. You can't get any new T61 battery for much cheaper than that.

    You can get a genuine Lenovo battery on ebay for much cheaper, but you have to look for it.
    Ebay is full of generic cheap batteries (of questionable quality) that will fit Lenovos.
