    Cheap Lenovo 3yr depot + accidental warranty at PCMall?

    Hey all-
    So I googled the words "Depot TopSeller" on a lark, and came across this:
    PC Mall | Lenovo, 3Yr Depot + Top Seller 3 Year Accidental Damage Protection, 41C9340

    Even considering taxes and shipping, for $175, a 3yr depot + accidental warranty represents a substantial savings over Lenovo's CTO site, whether or not you're using the bn students discount. It is also much cheaper than Squaretrade.
    The thing is, the models listed aren't current, so I'm not sure if it'll be honored. Has anybody had any experience buying standalone warranties for Lenovo products from an online seller separate from your actual laptop purchase?

    that ADP service plan is only applicable to a TopSeller model that already comes with a 3-year depot warranty.   it is not applicable to CTO models and certainly not ones with only 1-year warranties.

    thankfully, most resellers will check your system for eligibility before processing the servicepac.
