    Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the speakers of Thinkpad edge E40? As you may know the speakers are located right below the screen. This creates two problems: 1. the speakers are hard to get access to -- I'd have to rip the thing above the actual speakers, which wouldn't look pretty. 2. The connections presumably go trough the hinges, meaning they are probably hard to manipulate.

Does anybody with more experience -- I haven't changed speakers before -- know if this could be done?

    Thanks in advance,

    Valmancer

I wish you luck, I find the speakers in my E420 to be loud enough, but of very low quality, that is why I bought some nice headphones, for around 80.
