My husband wants to change out the screen on his IBM T43 notebook and wonders if it will be fairly easy. Does anyone have any experience with doing this (as an end user)? Thanks.

if you change the entire the screen assembly rather than the LCD by itself, it is fairly easy (costs around the same as a LCD by itself if you look around marketplace forum.thinkpads.com or ebay, while it is preferable you go with the former rather than the latter).

The manual that teaches every step of the process is here.
