    Hi guys,

I recently (ie last couple of days) ordered a T400. I've decided that I would like to change one single component, and was just wondering how difficult this would be. Would I have to cancel the order and start again, and if so would the discounts I got last time still be applicable (assuming I went through a phone salesman).

    Thanks in advance.

I did this when I ordered mine. I simply did the online chatting thing and, to my surprise, the guy was very good, took care of everything and emailed me the final configuration.

On the other hand. I had different luck. In october of 2007, I ordered a t61p and wanted to change the order. "Nothing doing," I was told, because the system was already under construction. It depends on where you are in relation to the build cycle.
