Just wondering, can I replace my T61 15.4 inch Type 6458 E35 from German to English Keyboard, and will it work?

yes.   you'll also need to change your keyboard layout in your OS to get the keys mapped correctly.

Thanks Erik for the quick reply. How about if I install an English OS after changing the Keyboard? Do I still need to remap the layout or it isnt neccessary anymore...

english OSes will either default to an english keyboard map or ask you at installation what layout you want to use.   most distributions of linux and windows will default to a US english map.   if you're installing UK english, simply choose this layout when prompted.
