    Changing Coupon Code on Order Before Shipping

    I ordered a T500 on Sunday using a 30% off coupon code. On Monday, a 35% coupon code came out. The laptop has not shipped yet. Will Lenovo let me change the coupon code to the 35% one if I call them?

    I don't see that could be possible, because they probably charged it already to your credit card.

    You can call and cancel the order any time before it ships, so you couldcancel the order, then place a new order with the new coupon.
    IConsidering the way they do things, I doubt they can change an existing order, but you can try.
    The Lenovo ordering process is pretty primitive. I am waiting for a T500 I ordered on the 25th to ship, and it still has not been charged to my card.

    Lenovo doesn't "charge" your credit card account until after the product has shipped. Until it ships they put a hold on the amount you will pay.

    I placed an order on Dec 1 and noticed that a few transactions cleared before Lenovo so I called my credit card company. They told me that they authorized the transaction, but were waiting on Lenovo to send them back a confirmation.

    So I called Lenovo and they told me that the order was received and had been passed to manufacturing and that they've placed a hold on the amount due and they'll release confirmation to my credit card company once the order has been shipped.
