I had decided to return my Y500 based on what the benefits Haswell will bring but. Considering I need a new Laptop and getting the GT750 and all the Specs I got 12GB DDR3RAM and 1920x1080 display. For less than $900, I can't beat the price anywhere.
And what really sold me was Gaming. I tried FarCry 3 and Starcraft 2 HOTS and according to Notebokcheck.com's info about the GT750 they say that DDR5 RAM models can equal and GTX670 and based on teh gaming reviews and frames persecond, the GT750 does meet or exceed the GTX670.
In Starcraft 2 I get 45 fps easy on Ultra and Extreme settings at 1080p with VSYNC but no AA I can't really see it makes a difference at 1080p.
FarCry 3 all settings Ultra or Maxed out is around 25fps still playable No AA, but If I add another GT750 I'll at least add another 15 frames per second to that.
Very happy with my purchase.

I felt a form of regret originally, but then I realized how great of a deal the Y500 is right now. Think about Haswell and stuff- the Y500 won't have the discounts they have right now

Plus as of today you can't get a 12GB DDR3 RAM set up. It was a no brainer to get the 12GB vs the 8GB for just $50 more. everything else being the same. For $900 bucks I think its a deal.

Yes, this thing is pretty awesome when everything is working properly. Unfortunately, it is broken out of the box and Lenovo support is a joke (from reading the forums). I've had mine since December of last year, took me a while to get everything to work properly (or as close to it as I can get). Still like this laptop a lot and with this new 240w PS, I'm having more fun than ever. Guess there's not as much satisfaction if it was perfect out of the box, luckily I had the time and patience to make it work.

Chronos from Samsung is not doubt awesome, but no SLI option and the sam eprice or higher was a deal breaker
Changed my mind Y500 is awesome I am keeping it
