    Hi Friends,

I recently purchased an R61 with Vista Business.
The specifications read that the OS setup was available in 4 languages (German/French/Italian/English).

The initial installation was smooth, and I chose English as the language.

Now it happened that I decided to check how the Factory Restore works (not much data/software installed now). So I pressed the ThinkVantage button at startup, intending to do a factory restore.

The problem is this that the language of this Rescue and Recovery is German !

Can anyone help me out, as to how can I set this to English ?

    Thanks in advance,
    AG

"Language" in German is "Sprache" (ok, according to babelfish)

    English is "Englisch"

    Thanks hugetim,

The problem is that there is no option to change the language when Rescue & Recovery starts during booting. :(

Is there a way to change this, being logged in Windows ?

    Regards,
    AG

    Solved

I did a 'Restore to Factory' using the recovery discs I had created, and chose the Installation Language as English.

So the language of Rescue & Recovery (at boot time) depends on the Language chosen while installing Vista.
