I have a T61 with a 14.1''WXGA screen. I found a 14.1''WXGA+ glossy screen on the internet. Is it possible to change it? My T61 comes with integrated video card. In the Lenovo parts information site I found no difference of other parts between the two screens resolution.
    Thank you.

I'm sure you can, just have to read the service/maintenance manual to see how to dissemble the T61

I believe that either. But people from ScreenTekinc and a reseller said that there would be hardware problems.
    Did anybody make it?

I'd check the video card specs and see if it can support 1400x1050 resolution. I honestly/ don't see why it wouldn't be able to. Then switching is just a matter of taking out a few screws. ScreenTek should have diagrams on how to remove the LCD.

    Good Luck!

oh... don't pull too hard on the bezel (outer plastic edge that everyone complains about being unsymmetrical). =)

With enough skill anything's possible, but if the screen was not made for the T61 you got a major project on your hands. The other thing to consider is if you swap the screens your warranty will be void. I think the best course of action if you are unhappy with your screen would be to sell your T61 and get something else you prefer more.
