    When looking at the reviews on the website it looks like my t61 has the same case as the R61, and is different from the pictures from the t61 review.
    Was there a revamp since these reviews were done. Because my T61 has vertical usb ports and speakers on the side of the keyboard.

    Is it possible you're mixing the widescreen and standard models? I think the standard screen ones had vertical USB ports.

    I have the widescreen and I have vertical USB ports plus the speakers on the side of the keyboard.

    As Mu_Zeta said, you're probably comparing your T61 to a standard screen size.
