I was looking for light and comfortable carrying case for my T60 14" at Lenovo website. I found namely Targus OCN1 Notepac, specially designed for IBM thinkpad could be best one I was looking for. But the price @ $ 39.99 was a bit high for me at Lenovo:

Then I search the same product in google and found the same carriying case at EuclidComputers.com. Surprisingly the price at this store is just $ 15.00. Then I gave a call to Eulicid computer and the responding guy confirmed that he can supply the same carrying case @ $ 15.00 each.

I am so disappointed with Lenovo that how they suck money out of our pocket. Anyway I just want to know any of you have already used this carring case for their IBM laptop? Any feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I recommend this one by Targus : http://www.targus.com/ca/product_details.asp?sku=TCG215CA

It fits my 14-inch T60 PERFECTLY. Since it is designed for 12-inch notebooks, it is very small and light. As a bonus, you also get a cellphone case and a 12-inch notebook sleeve.

The one you linked to is designed for 15-inch notebooks, and is much bigger than necessary. Also, it belongs to the lower end line of Targus bags.

Of course a computer manufacturer is going to soak you on peripherals. It's the price you woul dpay for the convenience of one-stop shopping. No surprise there...

Every once in a blue moon they unload bags and whatnot for cheap. My boss got a box of T30 bags for around $25 a couple of years ago. It's too bad the 9 cell is too big for that bag..

    Hello nyu3,

Many thanks for your information. just a quick question: The Slip Case's Dimensions is only: 11.5" x 9.5" x 1.5" I am afraid does my T60 14" fits inside this slip case?

The T60 does not fit in the slip case, but it is not neccessary. Think of the slip case as an extra bonus. I'll put up some pictures in a moment.
