So, I updated my thinkpad with the system update to the latest BT drivers, and it turns that now Windows cannot find my Bluetooth device, I even tried rolling back to the previous verision and yet it is still cannot find my BT device.

it says also when I did a hardware checkup using the "test a device" from the Lenovo Thinkvantage tools it says: Unable to advertise Bluetooth service. I tried every possible way from the internet that I found such as:

    1. T500 bluetooth cannot find any device - Lenovo Community
    2. Bluetooth Module can't find devices - Windows 7 Help Forums

I tried also regedit, all those things saying changing the tick options on the allowing thing to discover blah blah, the only thing I have done is to reformat my SSD.

I did however also put the original HDD back into the thinkpad and BT works fine. Not with the SSD (an upgrade).

    Anyone has any advice? Thanks
