Tired of so many delay/shpping/legality/wishful thinking/guessing stories...Simply cancelled the order. I feel this whole thing is like a show. What a role are you/we playing? Think about it
After a long time using Dell, wanted to make a switch this time, but the thing is so difficult -
I am going to watch how the rest of show is going to play out
Regards,
David

Well, the way the show is gonna play out is that even after asking them to cancel your order, they forget to do it, and buy the time you purchase another laptop, Lenovo will charge you and you'll have 2 laptops on your hands. Then, we'll get to watch your show.

It's getting comical really, I was actually configuring D630s on Dell's site today. I'll give it until Friday then I think I'm going Dell.

Yeah, it would be a good idea to document your communications (date, time, name of representative, whatever confirmation number they may give you) with Lenovo in case they screw up the cancellation. There's been several people who said they canceled but Lenovo still shipped.

Or, based on a bunch of other people's experiences, your laptop will ship tomorrow!

I put read & delivery receipts on the mail about the freebies and I got both receipts back...so you should keep stuff like that in case you have a dispute and tell Visa/Amex/MC to cancel the transaction. That's the proof that you can show.
I'm waiting to see if they ship & bill for my cancelled order. If they do I'm going to dispute it with MC and then show them the delivery & read receipts and emails that I sent. If they can't cancel an order that's Lenovo's tough luck! -

The minute Dell puts up the XPS m1330, I'm jumping ship. If the T61 is on the way, I"ll refuse delivery or just send it back unopened; I expect it will still be in production. If I already have the T61, I'll just keep it. However, the T61 will be my fourth and last ThinkPad.

This is the key for getting full refund.
