    Canadians: How long wait for lenovo deliveries?

    Hi all. Got a question particularly directed at Canadians (but anyone is welcome to answer from North America):

    How long is the wait from email notification of shipment to your door step?

    Specifically then how long does it take to get UPS tracking for a Toronto address, from the email notification of shipment?

    Is it not out of the ordinary that one gets UPS shipment details for one product, but not for the laptop which were purchased in the same bundle on the same day and has same day shipment posted?

    Finally, I realize there must have been a huge freight shipment from lenovo this past weekend to its North American consumers. My question is has anyone recieved or will recieve their lenovo products, specifically the notebooks.

    I ordered my T400 mid August and got it around mid September. So a whole month. (Bare in mind that I got my T400 about a week after it was announced on their Canadian site)

    If you got notification that it has shipped, I think the average time is something like 2 days from China to Canada, and then 2-3 business days by UPS once it clears customs. You can get a tracking number from them once it is in UPS system.

    Hi,

    Does anyone have any dates or times for Vancouver as the final destination?

    I'm particularly interested in how long it took from the ship date to delivery.

    I know it goes from China to Ontario, then back to BC. I suspect most of the times given so far are for Ontario as the final destination.

    How about shipments around this time of the year, with higher volumes and adverse weather? Any chance I could get a T500 before xmas if I order it by Dec. 5?

    Isn't Canada the North American afterthougt? Most people think of the US AS N. Am then Mexico. Kanada is more like the 51st state following Alaska in importance? lol.

    Ordered my T500 on Nov 21 and right now it is sitting at Lester B Pearson. I am in Edmonton.

    I personally don't think you will get your order before xmas if you ordered by Dec 5. I purposely changed all my components hoping that it would make parts more available. I checked the Lenovo site a few days ago and it said allow 16 business days for shipment. Mine took 5 business days.
