    Canadian Orders - any customs and border fees?

    Hey All,

    My laptop has just cleared Cdn customs and I'm wondering if I'm going to get dinged with an exorbitant customs fee or anything else (or even a minor one). Electronics are usually charged, but I would've expected Lenovo to mention something on their website if it were the case.

    I would think Lenovo expects notebooks bought in the US to be from people here. I don't know why they would mention it.

    no problem at all for my T400, which shipped from China to USA, then to Canada within a week.

    Never happened to me for all the thinkpads purchased. Granted, this is if you purchased from lenovo.com/ca/en and not from .com/us/en

    Nope, never had this problem before. After all, you did pay canadian sales tax on the initial purchase, didn't you?
