    Hi,

Im currently in the process of looking for an online retailer that sells lenovo laptops. Im looking into an x201t but it is unavailable on the lenovo site. An x200 tablet would be another option. I would rather not order from the lenovo sie directly because everything is far too overpriced.

Another possibility would be to order from a US distributor that ships to Canada but thats hard to find.

Any website suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Overpriced? :err: There are coupons available every week that can slash the price significantly. I got a W510 for under 1300CAD shipped (the retail is ~2k ). I wouldn't mess with retailers unless there's no way to order from Lenovo directly.

    hey there,

Check out this 250pages long thread
    http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/...20-off-t-series-17-off-top-epp-no-min-777107/

Lenovo overprices their laptops in order to be able to apply huge discounts after. I got my T410s with a 35% discount 3months after it was released. It's just a marketing decision ihmo.

In general you'll be much better off buying from Lenovo directly since the discounts that come in every week are much better than the standar price resellers charge. The only cheapest option could be eBay.

To understand what I'm talking about the X200t was on a 40% discount ~2weeks ago :S

I'm confused -- can you use the employee discount code if you aren't an employee? Do they check?

I'm gonna say you get what you pay for on the "overpriced" comment.

Thanks for all the comments guys, they were very helpful. I have now have hopes of ordering an x201t because i have actually found some for sale!

So now if i absolutely have to get a high end laptop ill get the x201t right away from another site, if not ill wait till lenovo gets the x201t up for sale again and try to apply a coupon (if available at the time). That redflags and shopbot link were very insightful, thanks!
