    I don't get it...

    For example:

    Intel Core i5-3320M Processor (3M Cache, 2.60GHz)
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
    14.0" HD+ (1600 x 900) LED Backlit Anti-Glare Display, Mobile Broadband Ready
Core i5-3320M Processor (3M Cache, 2.60 GHz) with Intel HD Graphics 4000
    4 GB PC3-12800 DDR3 (1 DIMM)
    UltraNav without FingerPrint Reader
    500GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm
    DVD Recordable
    6 Cell Lithium Battery T81+
    Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200 (2x2 BGN)
    Mobile Broadband upgradable
    1 Year Depot/Express Warranty

Canada's official website provides price at $914 but US is $1174

They also could have 25% discount on the price from official website.

One more strange thing is T430s in Canada provides 65w adapter but US do not have that option.

why the price has a huge difference....

The X series are almost the same on both sides, why there is still $450 difference?

T series has a big difference.

Lots of oddities on the Canadian site. If you choose the base nvidia unit to customize, you can bump up the processor to the 3320M for an extra $55, but then lets you remove the nvidia graphics which saves you $330. With coupons you can push the price to under $800 before tax.

Also for those who were not aware the same thing happened to the x220 2-3 weeks ago. By downgrading a loaded i7 unit you could get a base i5 wiht IPS for $350-$500 depending on your config. Some units did ship but most got cancelled.

discounts, eg usxsavings2012 which via mastercard marketplace or barnes and noble gold gets you over 20% off.

and taxes, which are much higher in canada.
