I can't get the Client Security Solution to work. After installing, when I click to run it, I get the splash screen, and then nothing happens. I have TPM activated and am running Ultimate x64. What else do I need to get it to run? I have the fingerprint reader software installed.

Can you explain your situation a little bit more? What do you mean by you cant get it running? You're not able to open up the application itself? Have you tried to run it as administrator?

After the splash screen comes up, nothing happens. No windows open at all. I just tried running as Admin but still nothing. I'm wondering if it requires some other component other than the fingerprint reader.

May i ask what you're looking for it to do? You should be able to set all user privileges, control which webpages' password login to bypass using the fingerprint reader, and you should be able to change the windows login.

Have you tried going into Thinkvantage under all programs, then right clicking Client Security Services to Run as Administrator. After doing that, it should bring up the CSS application where you can choose to add a password the HDD, change the fingerprint reader settings; etc.

If you're not able to bring up this application. I would try uninstalling the CSS software, rebooting, then reinstall it again followed by another reboot.

I can't bring up the application at all. I've tried right clicking on the shortcut and choosing to run as administrator, and I've tried reinstalling many times with the same thing. I want to be able to use the fingerprint reader to input passwords in Firefox. I already use the fingerprint reader to log into Windows.

I tried reinstalling both with the same results. Is there some other way to use the fingerprint to type passwords in Firefox?
