I'm trying to determine if the screen on my X201T is IPS or PVA... I've got a FRU # from the online parts list specific to my machine, but cannot find any info on the Lenovo site. I tried here: X201T, but it doesn't even have the 400 nit screen listed. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

The FRU in question is 13N7297 (Mfg part # 27R2491).

FWIW, I tried googling it to no avail...

Thanks for the help... it was listed as a FRU number in the parts lookup I ran. I was able to find a couple of 13N**** FRU numbers in your links, but no exact matches.

Since tabbook shows the outdoor-viewable screen as being either PVA or IPS, I was curious to see which one I was getting.

I've been issued a serial number. It hasn't arrived yet, but it has passed through Anchorage already. When I run the model and serial number, I get a listing that looks like this:

Mfg part # FRU part # Description Serviceable?
    27R2491 13N7297 FLAT PANEL DISPLAYS; FRU 12WXGA 400NIT L YES

i looked it up manually in the parts system and it's a new FRU.   it hasn't made it out to the maintenance manuals yet.   unfortunately no info is given on the manufacturer.

Thanks erik... I'll just have to be patient. I'm anxious because the screen on my T61p absolutely sucked, which ruined an otherwise phenomenal system.

Just looked up what it would cost to replace that particular screen... $967?! Even for Lenovo, that's steep!

By any chance you found out what screen it is? I am getting a 13N7297 and am wondering what it would be.

    Thanks!
