    Can you Transfer a Warranty?

    I bought a T61P from craigslist and it has a 3 Yr warranty. How do I transfer it online into my name? I just wnat to transfer it into my name.

    The warranty is on the laptop, not the owner.

    You could call them and register it in case they'd need to notify you of anything like a recall.

    theres no way to a owner transfer online like dell offers?

    Try registering it on Lenovo's website. I bought my X61 used and registered it online. It seems fine. Warranty is still intact.

    Warranty follows the machine by serial #. What are you specifically concerned about?
