So my T420's factory battery from 2011 has finally took a nose dive. I don't blame the battery, its 6 years old!

That said, is this a "genuine" battery? Is something this cheap going to at least last me a solid 2+ years before degrading bad? If this isn't genuine, or somewhat reliable, how much do I have to spend for a reliable 94wh battery? Also am I on the right track thinking that the battery for the T420 and the T530/W530 is the same?

Planning on buying a T530 or W530 very soon, something in better shape than my overused T420.... Slap a 2tb hdd in it, and a 256-512 ssd, 16gB of ram, and have me another budget beast of a laptop... Don't wanna waste money on a crap battery, as I'm sure whatever used laptop I buy will need a battery.

I mean a battery is a battery. I've had dozens of non genuine batteries and they mostly lasted as long as the genuine ones, just buy the ones with the highest capacity for the cheapest price and u're good to go.
