    I convinced my dad to buy a T61 type 7662-CTO, and he wanted a 6-cell flush battery like the one offered in the T61p, instead of the protruding 6-cell in the 14.1" T61....Can it fit?

    I know....my question was if a 6-cell from the 15.4" T61 which doesnt protrude work on the 14.1"...

    go to the lenovo website, and shop around for batteries. Then type in whatever machine type you have and you can see what batteries will work with which machine types.

    My 7662 battery is not compatible with my brothers 8897
