    if i were to upgrade the hdd on my x200 (from stock 5400rpm 160gb) what SSD can i put in there without any problems re-installing windows vista?

    Any 2.5" SATA drive should work.

    2.5"? The X200 uses a 1.8", right...?

    NO! The x200 uses standard 2.5" wide and 9.5mm tall drives. You can use 1.8" drives (e.g. the Samsung 64GB SLC SSD) with an adapter.

    Only the x300/x301 and x40/x41 used 1.8" drives.
