    Techs,
I work on IBM's at a large corporation with over 6000 laptops. They will be rolling out the T400 soon and for some reason their asset management system now will record UUID instead of serial #'s (heaven knows why). The problem is that now when we replace mobo's, unless we can find an app that can edit UUID's, the unit's info will have to be updated in the database (to match the random generated UUID that Maint 175 creates).
I've searched IBM and the net but can't seem to find a ROM app that will allow you to type in a specific UUID.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
