    Can isopropyl alcohol be used to clean Thinkpad screen?

    Before I try I want to make sure: is isopropyl alcohol 91% bought from drugstore safe for cleaning the screen? Thanks

    91% isopropyl alcohol is very strong. Before you use it on your computer, you should mix it with distilled water, or buy a lower concentration (such as 50 or 70%).

    I believe your supposed to use 50 percent or less to clean any screen (flatscreen that is, glass doesnt matter I dont think). I frequently use 91% diluted with water in equal proprtions and it seems to work great.
