    Please help

When I insert my sd card into the card reader in my notebook, then double click on the icon in my computer, I get an error message 'Disk not formatted', it explains that the disc in drive E is not formatted. It then gives me a choice to format it. when I try to format it, I get another message stating that it cant be formatted.

I have checked for conflicts in device manager and I have a yellow exclamation mark under DISK DRIVES against the Secure Digital Storage entry. Under device status it has code 10 this device cannot start.

    Any ideas?

The sd card works in my other devices.

Sorry nearly forgot, I have a Lenovo 3000 N100 notebook. If you need any more info, please ask.

first disable the usb root then insert the usb card into laptop. Then enable the usb devices and it should find the card and read the data. When you remove the card do exactly the opposite.
