    Only one unless specs say otherwise on Lenovo's site.

    You could fit a second HDD via UltraBay.

    I'm guessing they are SATA II type hdd's also.

    MAny have speculated about the possibilities of running a RAID 0 set up with the ultrabay. Not sure if anyone has ever done it.
