    Can I use DDR2 PC5400 667MHz RAM on T61p?

    I have the OCZ 5400 memory. The only thing with the 5400 memory is that they manufacturer has tested it at higher speeds than 667MHz (675+) so as to guarantee its performance at 667MHz.
    It's a marketing thing. It's the same as 5300 speed memory.

    Thank you so much. Do you think I can combine a OCZ 2GB PC5400 with a 1GB Original Thinkpad Memory on my T61p? Will there be any compatibility issue? Thanks a lot... :confused:

    wouldn't you lose dual channel memory with a 1gb and 2gb stick?
