Can I upgrade from Intel 4965AGN to Intel 5300 in T61?

Will it work, will I get an error in startup? If this card gives an error, will the Atheros one offered from the line of T61's work? Is it better?

I can give you the results from my T61p which was that it worked fine. Go with cards that the bios will have heard of. Why it had heard of my high powered atheros card. I do not know. You can't go wrong with an atheros card issued at the time of the T61p and which the t61p carries recognition.
