Since it's a "discrete" graphics card, i was wondering if i might be able to replace it with another 570M, because of overheating problems.

does anyone have answer for me?

sorry if my newbie question bothers you.. but i really need an answer to this

No! The Quadro 570 is soldered to the mother board. 'Integrated' means Intel, i.e. integrated with the motherboard's Intel chipset. Discrete means from another vendor - but both are soldered on. Sorry. You would need to replace the MB. If it is a T61p, it should still be under warranty. Send it back to Lenovo service.

I would say that its not possible for the sake of this thread. Call up Lenovo if its still under warranty and have a talk with them about sending it in. They should (at least they used to) have a very quick turn around time for a replacement/repair.

If it is still under warranty, Lenovo would probably have to replace the motherboard.

What symptoms do you have when you say the computer is overheating?
