I've got a T500 running Vista business and want to know what to do with my Q drive. I've already got recovery disks, which I ordered from Lenovo since my burner sucks.
The Q drive on my laptop is 19.5GB, of which 10.66GB is used... but when I click on the Q drive there are no folders in it.
What I want to know is:
Can I delete whatever is on the Q drive and use that space?
What are the repercussions of freeing up the Q drive?
How do I do it?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Q drive is your recovery partition. The recovery partition is the quickest way to get your machine back to original settings. Recovery discs take twice as long as it has to remake the recovery partition then initializes it, but it is the only way to get an OS if your Windows COA on the bottom is rubbed off.

Would it make sense to just format the Q drive? -
Go into Disk Management and delete that volume/partition. Then you should be able to extend your default partition to use up that 19.5GB.

In Disk Manager, right-click on the C: partition and select Extend Volume.
Can I remove my Q drive?
