I've an Intel X25-m G2 80GB in the hard drive slot on my T500 running Windows 7 and a 320GB 5400rpm in the Ultrabay slot.
I'm thinking of running both Linux and Windows 7 on my laptop.
Is it possible to install Linux on the Ultrabay drive and dual boot b/w the two.
And which Linux is the best?

I've done it countless times with two different Vista installations
no idea about linux -
Yes you can.
It's no different than a desktop with two drives with an OS each. -
The thing you must be careful about is if Linux controls the boot option, which if it is installed second is very likely, the boot loader will be on the drive in the optical bay. If you were to pull it to use the optical, it won't boot. If you have Windows CD you can fix it.

Would that problem still be there if one were to put a drive in the ultrabay, pull the primary drive, and install off a USB optical drive?
Can I put another OS on Ultrabay drive and dual boot?
