The Wiki page it supports the Mini-PCI slot but I'm not sure if it supports a Mini-PCI Wifi adapter? Has anyone tried installing one on their X30? I'm specifically looking at an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Mini-PCI Adapter.

You will of course need the antenna.

i'd like some more info on this as well, if anyone can help. i have an x30 without integrated wireless, and I'd like to install a mini pci wifi card, will the intel pro wireless 2200bg work? any input is appreciated, thanks! -
Have you opened the notebook and seen antenna's 2 ends near mini-PCI slot?
Usually it is no problem to replace mini-PCI wifi cards, but i don't know about this specific model. 99% - yes, it's no problem.
Intel's is not the best card. You might get e.g. Atheros high gainmini PCI card as a better/more powerful/ more sensitive alternative. -
if it does, is it as simple as installing a mini pci card? and if not, what options do i have? would it still be possible to install a mini pci card?
Can I install an Intel Mini-PCI WiFi adapter on the X30?
