    What the heck is this in T500s ? Is there a camera or not?

    The T500 can have a webcam (above the center of the display).

    Alternatively, it could be referring to the SDHC (AKA camera card format) reader.

    I think this person meant the T400s, because it has an option of "Camera subcard"...

    I also want an explanation of what this is. Camera sub card sounds like it would replace the camera, but I don't understand why anyone would want to remove the camera, much less pay $30 to do so.

    I called Lenovo and they said that if you want the camera pick the "camera sub card" option.
