Well I decided to cancel my order for my T61. I want to reconfigue (still not 100% on what) and re-order. Problem is they said it might be too late. She said somthing about order was already to the warehouse but she put a cancel request in anyways. She was pretty sure it would canceled but I wouldn't know for sure till probably Monday. According to the rep, it takes 48 hours for the website status to get updated. Now my problem is I want to order my new model before Monday is over to take advange of the current sales. Lets say my 1st order does go through and is packaged and sent to me. Could I still get a 100% refund (I suppose I would have to pay shipping though).

From my own experience with Lenovo returns, you will get your 100% refund - however, don't break the seal on the box when it arrives.
Nor will you be expected to pay return shipping - at least, I wasn't, so would imagine you'd fare likewise.
Your c/card will have to carry an (unnecessary) balance though for around a week or so. -
Yup, if it arrives, just DONT OPEN IT and then give them a call. Once it shows as "invoiced" in their system, they can send you a shipping label to return it on them....no worries.

Thanks much!

Checked status today and its says it was shipped (no tracking number yet). I plan to re-order a T61P model now (actually comes out cheaper because of a discount coupon I didn't put in last time).
Called Lenovo and cancelled order..they said it might be too late..could I still send back???
