Just upgraded to CSS8. Now the Password manager stopped working. I was able to do the info backup to save the passwords, and used the upgrade installer to get it loaded. Anyone else having issues?

CSS8 says that it will not work with the Password Manager. That is one of the main reasons I did not install the upgrade.

I remember reading it doens't work with Private Disk. I guess I should have read it more carefully. Can I "downgrade" w/o too much headache? From the website or can I get it internally off the computer?

You can remove it and download the previous version from the lenovo website.

So I uninstalled w/ windows add/remove programs. Took out CCS8 and RR4. Downloaded CCS7 and RR3. When I try to install RR3, it fails on me saying there's a new environment version running, or something along those lines. Did I miss something? I only see stuff online for "upgrade" but nothing for "downgrade."

    **edit
Ok, so RR3 didn't install, but CSS7 did. I went to restart it, and now my computer crapped out. Blue screen of death! Some error saying that stack timeout and startup has been stopped due to potential malicious attack. So now I don't know what to do. Tried to remove CSS7, using the "startup with last known good config" and did remove. Now still have blue screen! I need some help...bad!

Ok, it works now. Got CCS8 and RR4 back. Lenovo tech support tells me that typically the laptop doesn't like to go backwards, only forwards. Since I went and put the new version on, it basically forces me to stick with it.

However, after putting CCS8 and RR4 back on, it did boot fine, but wireless was dead. It kept disabling it. I'd enable it, and it'd crash. Blue screen again. Tried to update drivers and roll back drivers, no luck. Finally, uninstalled and reinstalled the device and it works now.

Now it's all running again, and I just ordered the vista upgrade. Now I need to wait for that.
