    CPU speed with R50p - please help

    Hi,

    I have a problem: I think that the CPU in my R50p is not running at 1.7 Ghz as it should.
    The system tab from control pannel shows processor 17000 Mhz, but under this there is a number ranging from 300 to 700 Mhz.
    Other programs reported CPU speed of 700 and like.
    Is this some power management feature? Can it be configured (or uninstalled)?
    Please help me.
